Nowadays, football supporters behave violently. What is the cause? How can we solve it?
Undeniably, football fans, these days, show brutal behaviour and behave over-aggressively whether they are in a stadium or sometimes even in front of a television. There are plenty of causes behind this issue, and this essay will address the solutions.
To begin with, the prime reason behind this violence is the passion they have for their favourite team. And the fear of losing a match by the country or a club they support adds pain to their aggression. For instance, a competition between Australia and New Zealand will always raise the heat in the crowd which generally leads to vandalism. Apart from the emotions, some of the soccer supporters betting on the team and player lose their money and so the temper, indulge themselves in hooliganism.
Additionally, we can find many such examples in our neighbourhood who have lost all their lifelong savings, precious belongings and even their own home in wagering. Lastly, the supporters consuming alcohol during the match make the situation intensely hazardous as they do not be in their own control, and outrage the field by stirring the devotees of their rival side to end up in mass fighting.
This problem is insuppressible; however, can be combated to a large extent by preventive measures taken by the government and stadium officials together. The ground management can install CCTV cameras and appoint security guards between the audience to closely monitor their activities and inhibit them if necessary. The government can introduce some stringent laws and can send those behind bars who breach them. Alcohol should also be forbidden inside the stadium and a hawk-eyed check should be levied at all the entrance points of it.
To conclude, the increasingly violent behaviour of football fans can definitely be impeded by some rigorous actions taken by the local regimes and the field authorities.
