June 26 - Practice Task 2 - 1

In your opinion, what incentives could be offered that would persuade more people to embrace electric cars? Support your answer with reasons and examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The answer belongs to three websites named: The USA Times on EVs, The UK EVs Formation, and KIA Motors EV6 Concept. BAWA IELTS has followed these websites while writing this essay considering the plagiarism policy.

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are a hot topic these days since they are eco-friendly. However, people ignore them and opt for engine-operated vehicles. Hence, this essay will discuss incentives that must be offered to buyers to buy electric cars.

The primary way that governments can use to attract buyers is to boost the supply chain for automakers, help subsidise the cost for drivers and dramatically scale up the number of public electric vehicle charging stations along the nation's roadways. For instance, there are currently about 42,000 public charging EV stations in the US and 20,000 DC fast chargers compared to around two lakh gas stations. Therefore, people will welcome electric cars when they have an abundance of charging points.

Another factor is that the chair must facilitate people with a home charging concept so that they can charge their vehicles at home. Undeniably, it is the finest idea; nonetheless, home charging is typically related to higher-income people who can afford to charge vehicles at their homes. For lower-income individuals who do not have a garage or a dedicated parking spot with easy access to a charger, the logistics of charging at home become much more complicated. Thus, just as policymakers are figuring out how to make EVs cheaper, experts must focus on making home charging more equitable and accessible for middle and lower-income people.

Yet another perspective is that the authorities must organise awareness events to make people aware of the long-term benefits of EVs. To be more precise, these cars have lower running and maintenance costs, and they are easy to drive with quiet behaviour. Moreover, the charging requirements of these cars must be lesser than petrol or diesel ones.

To conclude, the role of EVs in the future is indispensable since they are green, and it is the best way to curb pollution. As a result, the administration must introduce forenamed factors to gravitate people towards EVs.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials.
