April 28 - Essay Class - Some believe it is important for cities and towns to invest heavily in building large outdoor public spaces. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Access to nature is essential for humans as it impacts our mental health positively. Therefore, a section of society claims governments must facilitate cities with big outdoor public establishments. I extend my support toward the notion since it provides cognitive, bodily and social benefits.

To start with, plenty of aspects sustain my perspective. The primary benefit is parks and gardens are an oasis in the middle of cities that are valuable resources for improving our health and physical condition. Researchers have explained that long-term contact with nature is connected to longer lifes. And it promotes healthy lifestyles since people can engross themselves in physical activities like exercise and jogging. To cite an example, I prefer to engage myself in a brisk walk in the morning at a public park located near my home since it is the best way to keep my body sound by losing extra fat through sweating.

Another aspect is that one can stave away stress and anxiety by visiting these parks because such gardens help reduce tension and improves concentration and happiness. It is particularly beneficial for children and older people since they can get a chance to meet their loved ones there. Moreover, people can attain relaxation and give themselves a break from the asphalt and their daily routines. For instance, plenty of public parks are there in my hometown, where people love to go to achieve respite and prefer to take part in activities like yoga and laughter exercises. Thus, big public places provide happiness to dwellers.

Yet another advantage is family and community bonding. In brief, people can enhance their social bonding when they visit such parks since these places link them with nature and peace. Greater access to green spaces provide a natural outlet for fun activities for families, social connections, and community attachment, which otherwise is not very easy to find in an urban culture where people generally live in concrete jungles and mental silos.

To conclude, green outdoor places act as a boon for the general public as they are restorative in various ways. Furthermore, people have been surrounded by extra stress these days, and these places provide them with revival and tranquillity. Hence, the chair must equip cities with these facilities.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India. Moreover, we have traditional fast foods as well.  The first one is a savoury stuffed pastr
