The advancement of technology has impacted every aspect of our lives from learning to communicating with each other, and books play an imperative role in overall learning. Therefore, some people believe universities must adopt novel technologies for learning where e-books replace traditional books completely. I agree with the notion since this concept is beneficial due to several reasons. 


The primary advantage is the time-saving nature of e-books, and students can save money as well. Moreover, there is no need to bring any extra books or notes to the classroom due to which the burden on them will decline. Rather the professors can use presentations and word documents to teach pupils more effectively and understandably. Further, they can share notes with the class, and students can check their knowledge by participating in the online quiz too. 


Another merit is that students can understand the concept easily with the help of audio-visual graphics. In brief, university tutors use animations and digital patterns to explain different scenarios in the classrooms which in turn develops their logical and critical thinking. Besides this, we can also save precious trees since the need for the paper will tank, and this ecosystem will become better. 


To be more precise, every year, millions of trees surrender their lives to paper industries during the release of new editions. Therefore, when universities will opt for digital mediums, we can save trees easily since the books can be updated with a single click using the online mode. A recent survey has stated that 200 million trees were cut down last year for paper production, and the online mode has suppressed this trouble this year. As a result, the online mode is beneficial for students, universities and the environment. Additionally, learners can read anywhere anytime using e-books which is difficult in offline mode. 


To conclude, using e-books is of great advantage over paper textbooks and universities must adopt this technology so that learners can learn efficiently and effectively.

Speaking Part 1 - January to April 2023

  Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea.
