The given diagram depicts the different stages that are necessary while publishing a book. The whole process is composed of nine diverse phases and needs 18 to 24 months. Overall, the publication process commences with writing and concludes with distribution to bookshops.
The first step is to write the document, and then it is sent to publication houses which is the second stage. In the third scenario, the editors review the received material. In the fourth phase, a contract is then signed with the publication house before publishing the material.
The publication house then starts designing the layout before the final decision on the layout. This design belongs to step five and the final decision is the sixth step. After the final decision on the layout, the house starts printing which is followed by binding in the eighth stage. The ninth step is the final one in which the distribution to bookshops initiates.
