Some people buy their children a large number of toys to play with. What are the advantages and disadvantages for the child of having a large number of toys?

Toys are a crucial part of a child's development, and a few parents prefer to present plenty of toys to their wards these days. Thus, this essay will address the merits and demerits of having an ocean of toys.

On the one hand, the primary benefit of having a large count of toys is that the learning horizon of a child touches the pinnacle of creativity and productivity. The best toys engage a child's senses, spark their imaginations and encourage them to interact with others. Moreover, every new shape, colour, texture, taste and sound is a learning experience for them. Toys with contrasting colours are fascinating to babies and stimulate their developing vision. Hence, toys foster cognitive and motor skills in these children.

The secondary blessing is that one can learn and discover novel activities. In-depth, children are constantly eager to find fresh ideas and can promote their brain power by playing with diverse types of toys. Toys can turn into different forms and structures to educate children and enhance their IQ levels. It aids in mushrooming a child's listening abilities and understanding which are fruitful in the future in decision-making abilities.

On the other hand, the first drawback of these playthings is that a child will not appreciate ordinary things while playing with a sea of toys. In brief, when playing with various household items such as balls of yarn, boxes, empty bottles, and kitchen utensils, children develop their creative potential. Unlike toys, these simple objects rouse their imagination talents; however, if they have too many toys, they will be unable to explore and discover the fun and enjoyment they can get from playing with non-toy items and simple toys.

The second disfavour is that giving a lot of toys is one of the ways to spoil a child since this is known as special treatment. For instance, if parents give ten presents to their offspring for the holidays, they will expect more in the future. And if they will receive lesser, they may show gloom. Hence, the children can become aggressive.

To conclude, toys play a vital role in children's lives since they are associated with inventiveness and education but also invite trouble.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India.
