Of late, there has been a steady rise in the number of teenagers having social problems. Many people believe that it is because parents don’t spend enough time with their children due to their work commitments. Do you agree or disagree?

The contemporary era witnesses a motionless escalation in the count of young minds bearing social issues. A number of people believe, guardians do not spend quality time with their wards. Hence, I agree with this given notion.

To start with, scores of causes aggravate this issue, and I am of the opinion that every reason is because of the working scenario of parents. The primary justification is to make both ends meet, both father and mother work around the clock, which becomes an absolute need in their life. Owing to this, their descendants kill their precious time by staying alone at home and watching television and surfing the Internet. By doing so, they watch inappropriate content as well. As a result, society faces behavioural problems since the three-fifth proportion of parents is complaining about the change in their kids' minds.

Another aspect is that numerous parents have opted for day-care and day-boarding schools where their offspring are being cared for under the careful behaviour of a supervisor which is worthwhile. However, by doing so, an abundance of young minds is still devoid of exceptional love and affection from their parents. Consequently, depression, stress and anxiety gulp their life and impose adverse thoughts on impressionable minds. Therefore, a set of newspapers publish news about the fact such souls are trapped in social vices such as drinking, smoking and gambling.

After this discussion, I believe parents are the first teacher who ought to spend quality time with their pupils instead of quantity time. Undoubtedly, in this expensive era, it is necessary to work for a maximum period of hours; however, parents should also have to spend quality time with their children from their busy schedule since quitting a job will not be a fine decision. Therefore, we can tackle the issue in the presence of parents with good ideas.

To conclude, irrefutably, it is the moral responsibility of the breadwinner to earn money for their wards, but professional life should not outperform personal.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India. Moreover, we have traditional fast foods as well.  The first one is a savoury stuffed pastr
