Discuss the effect of globalization on third-world countries.

A platform through which the whole world connects is considered globalisation. Countries engross in exports and imports owing to this concept. It has both upsides and downsides. As a result, this essay will address both merits and demerits of globalisation, especially in less developed nations.

On the one hand, globalisation invites a plethora of benefits in third-world nations. First and foremost is the availability of an international product in a developing nation. For instance, in developing countries such as India and Pakistan, plenty of international fruit varieties like kiwi from New Zealand and Apple Red Delicious from the USA have been made available which is only possible due to globalization. Moreover, international food chains like Subway and McDonald's provide lip-smacking meals to the people which is an advantageous outcome of globalisation. Therefore, globalisation provides innumerable jobs.

The second conducive advantage is the availability of a flood of opportunities. To cite an example, Gurugram and Bengaluru are two cosmopolitan cities in India that have hundreds of multinational companies such as Fujitsu General, Samsung, Xiaomi and Apple. These companies not only provide international products to locals but open doors for various job seekers as well. Thus, globalization has become a platform that provides money to people of a particular nation to rouse their lifestyles.

On the other hand, this concept has a few unfriendly aspects. In the beginning, less advanced nations also face detrimental consequences due to this scenario. In brief, the Covid-19 pandemic has plundered underdeveloped nations too, since this disease has gulped the entire world because of air tourism that belongs to globalization. Additionally, local products are losing their charm against global ones as numerous people like to buy foreign products only. Besides this, it is also gulping local traditions, cultures and languages.

To conclude, in this revolutionised era, this is globalization that is enabling small nations to survive, and I believe its bright sides outweigh the dark ones because globalisation has changed the world drastically.

Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmad...

Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India. Moreover, we have traditional fast foods as well.  The first one is a sa...
