People entertain themselves by getting engaged in various types of leisure activities. These activities may be associated with films, literature or painting. But, a number of individuals think that film is of less importance compared to other activities related to literature and painting. I strongly condemn the given viewpoint. Hence, I will discuss various facts in this essay.


To start with, becoming a film actor is not an easy task for everyone. In brief, to be an effective actor for viewers needs a plethora of effort as playing a role of a particular character in the film takes focused and consistent practice. Moreover, adapting to the different body language of various characters and to styles of dialogue delivery requires years of training. In addition, for the last more than two decades, films have been playing a significant role in generating huge revenue for a particular nation. 


Moreover, numerous new Cinema halls and theatres have been constructed to fulfil the need of an incling number of audience. Further, films help in creating a number of job opportunities for a wide range of artists. For instance, apart from actors, directors and producers, there are musicians, stuntmen, dancers, and other supporting staff. Similarly, film distributors and persons working in cinema comprise a working force who are making ends meet by working in the making of well as displaying movies.


Conversely, other forms of art such as literature and painting are also imperative for some people. Individuals get enthusiasm and tranquillity by exposing these activities but I think that these are lagging behind in the generation of revenue as well as in creating jobs.


To conclude, I believe that all forms o entertainment whether they are films, literature or painting are important in providing rejuvenation to the people but films are more significant owing to their contribution towards  the economy of a nation and as a bread earner for the magnitude of individuals.
