Describe a person who you believe dresses well.

You should say:

Who this person is?
What kind of dresses he/she wears?
How do you know him/her?

This task is purely written by BAWA IELTS Ferozepur. We have not violated any plagiarism rules and regulations while writing the cue card.

Being a well-dressed person shows the personality traits of a person. I know a number of people who dress well; however, here I would like to talk about my best friend.

Who this person is?

His name is Robin and he is my old friend. He is associated with an NGO too and especially loves to wear traditional attire. A number of times he wears the dresses associated with the environment to make people aware of the importance of this ecosystem.

What kind of dresses does he/she wear?

He likes to wear both traditional and western dresses. I have seen him wearing T-shirts with jeans or sometimes trousers with formal shirts. However, in plenty of instances, he prefers wearing ethnic clothes from my province Punjab. These clothes include a long loose shirt with baggy pants. His favourite colours are white and green since both colours are significant according to him.

Recently, I have seen him wearing traditional clothes having a long shirt of Royal blue colour with white colour baggy pants, and he was looking like a king at the moment.

Moreover, we both were invited to the wedding ceremony, and he dressed very well. He wore four piece suit made from the same matching fabric. In that suit, apart from the trousers, the suit jacket and the waistcoat also include a matching bow tie.

How do you know him/her?

He was my classmate during our school time. We both have studied together there and have discussed a number of life lessons with each other. Moreover, he is my neighbour these days, and we love to do brisk walks in the morning.

I still remember we also participated in a competition during school time in 5th standard, and we shared the same place. Since that day, we are now best friends.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmad...

Speaking Part 1 - January to April 2023

Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India. Moreover, we have traditional fast foods as well.  The first one is a sa...

CHALLENGES What subject do you think is the most challenging at school? I believe history is one of the most challenging subjects at schools since it is an uphill task for many school-goers to remember historical events and their dates. I still remember not being able to grab proper information about ancient history and the significance of historical monuments.  Do you like to challenge yourself? Yes, I love to challenge myself, which motivates me to accomplish my task with full enthusiasm and concentration. Moreover, it allows exploring more and encourages us to try beyond the limit.  Do you like to live a life that has a lot of challenges? Yes, I like a life having various challenges since it is the best way to come out of my comfort zone and face the difficulties in life. Moreover, we have to work hard to overcome challenges owing to the fact we can get the desired target.  Challenges help us discover new skills, jump into new experiences, and boost our well-bei...
