Life is a learning process and to polish ourselves, we should have to learn regularly. A number of words I’ve learned so far and now, I am going to talk about a typical one.

1. What this word is?

This word is “CRICOPHARYNGEAL SPASM” which is one of the most typical words that I’ve read so far.

2. Where did you read it for the first time?

I exactly remember the time when my IELTS trainer had given me notes of an IELTS essay based on some words physical troubles, and In that essay, for the first time, I encountered such words.

   3. How do you find the meaning of the word?

To get the meaning of this word, first of all, I searched over the internet but, I was helpless at that time since this word is associated with throat disorder and basically it can be considered a disease.

Afterwards, I asked one of my friends about this word but, It was in vain. Therefore, in the end, I made a call to my teacher and asked him about this particular word. And, he replied to me it is a type of muscular spasm that occurs in the throat food pipe.

Moreover, my teacher cleared this concept in an apple-pie manner since he asked me that he was also suffering from this trouble once upon a time.

4 . Why did you find it difficult to learn?

Because of plenty of reasons I found this word difficult. Firstly, this word was like an alien to me and till that moment I had never ever faced such a typical word. Secondly, this word was not given in the dictionary, when I searched it there. Thirdly, I was unable to go through its proper pronunciation owing to its extremely long length.

Because of its speciality in a disease. I found it difficult to learn; on the contrary, In the end, I was delighted, when my teacher explained this word to me in a Comprehensive manner.

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials.
