Contemporary days witness a rapid rise in an era where fathers stay at home and mothers prefer professional work. Women empowerment and family circumstances may be the reasons behind this trend. I am of the opinion that this concept invites both merits and demerits. 

To start with, numerous factors invite the scenario. These days, gender equality has taken birth owing to the fact women prefer to experience the job sector. Gone are the days when females were confined to four walls of the room since, in modern times, plenty of companies provide them jobs to explore themselves. Moreover, the expenses are touching the sky. Hence, the need exists to do jobs. 

On the one hand, there are several positive sides to this culture. The primary benefit is that in a number of cases, women receive higher salaries compared to their counterparts. Therefore, it has become plausible for both pillars to earn good money for the welfare of their wards. The secondary benefit is that in case of any mishappening or life-threatening event with the husband, the wife can manage expenses easily. 

On the other hand, this scenario has a few dark sides. Initially, in certain instances, it has been seen that if women are the primary breadwinners in the family, the home's atmosphere gets disrupted. It creates polarisation that imposes devastating impacts on other members. Furthermore, for the proper fragmentation of a child, the mother's care is necessary, and the absence of the mother at home may lead to serious issues. Besides this, sometimes a child feels insecure because the father is unable to take care properly which has become the leading cause of depression amongst children. 

To conclude, the revolutionized era has made it possible for women to do jobs that provide fruitful outcomes. However, after discussing both schools of thought, I believe the positivity and negativity of this trend vary from person to person.
