Cambridge 17. June 22. Task 1



This task one belongs to Cambridge IELTS book 17. BAWA IELTS FEROZEPUR has written this in own language respecting plagiarism policy. 

The dual horizontal bar graph reveals the information regarding the proportion of weekly income spent by families on eight different activities in one country in 1968 and 2018. Overall, in the former year, they spent the highest money on food compared to leisure in the latter year. 

In 1968, 35% of the amount had been reserved for food and after half a century, it was nearly 17%. The expenditure was 10% and 18% on housing in 1968 and 2018, respectively. Fuel had given the least priority with seven per cent in 1968 and four per cent in 2018. Clothing and footwear were at ten per cent in the first year, and five per cent in the second. Household goods gravitated the similar proportion roughly seven each year. 

Personal goods had a similar proportion compared to household goods in 1968 and dropped to four per cent in 2018. On transportation, people expended seven per cent in the first-mentioned year and doubled in the second-mentioned year. Finally, in leisure activities, the families disbursed nine per cent in 1968 and 23% in 2018.
