The table chart depicts the police budget in millions of pounds for 2017 and 2018 in one area of Britain. Moreover, it exhibits from where the money came. This table is divided into three categories along with the total budget. The pie chart reveals how the money was spent on three different classifications.
Overall, the table demonstrates that in the latter year, the government allocated more budget. Another graph indicates that during both years, salaries of officers and staff members grabbed the maximum amount.
The table represents that in 2017, the highest sum was taken from National Government. It was 175.5 m in 2017 and 177.8 m in 2018. From local taxes, 91.2 m had grabbed in the first year compared to 102.3 m in the second. From other sources like grants, the budget had 38 m in the former year and 38.5 m in the latter. Thus, the net budget was 304.7 m in 2017 and 318.6 m after a year.
Heading toward a three-sectored pie graph, it is evident that exactly three-quarters proportion of the money was spent on salaries of officers and staff in 2017, which declined and reached almost seven in ten in 2018. The budget for buildings and transport was consistent during both years. It was 17%. Eight per cent and fourteen per cent of the money were diverted in 2017 and 2018, respectively, on technology.
