This product is called Jaggery a traditional non-centrifugal cane sugar and very sweet. Sometimes it is oval in shape or can be rectangular.

What it is used for?

Jaggery is used as an ingredient in sweet and Savory dishes in the cuisines of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Jaggery is also added to lentil soups to add sweetness to balance the spicy salty components. Moreover, during many festivals such as the festival of lights and festival of colours, people love to greet each other by exchanging lumps of Jaggery to make their bondings like concrete.

- Explain how it is made or Explain why your country makes it?

Jaggery is made of the products of sugarcane and the todi palm tree. This tree can easily be found in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Shri Lanka. Caryota palm trees are widely used for jaggery production.

In every place, all types of sugarcane come in blocks or paste of solidified concentrated sugar syrup heated to 200° centigrade.  Traditionally, the syrup is made from raw sugarcane juice or palm sac in large, shallow round-bottomed vessels.

Explain why is it popular?

This product is so popular in my country India because for plenty of reasons.

First of all, its molasses wheels are the bi-product of the production of jaggery to be used as a natural sweetener that contains many minerals that can never be found in ordinary sugar and is considered beneficial help in traditional ayurvedic medicine.

Secondly, this product is also used as a basic ingredient in the abundance of sweet delicacies dishes such as jaggery rice as well as jaggery pudding. Moreover, in my province, Punjab scores of masses like to eat scrumptious sweets named as jaggery golden balls as well as dumplings.

Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them.
