Events instil positive energy in one's mind since they are full of enthusiasm and zeal. A number of events I have attended so far and here, I would like to talk about a special one.

What was it?

It was the housewarming ceremony of my cousin's brother and we all gathered there.

When did you celebrate?

We celebrated it two months ago in January and it was one of the most cherishing moments of my life.

Where did you celebrate?

We celebrated it in the same house where he was going to be shifted. Since it is a huge duplex house and therefore, he invited us to his home.

Who was with you?

I attended that function with my parents.

Why was it special?

It was special owing to a number of reasons:

1. Firstly, it was like a dream come true moment for my cousin's brother since it was his long-cherished desire to have a beautiful and modern home and it was the moment when he fulfilled his desire.

2. Secondly, at that event, I met my old friends and neighbours and we exchanged a number of old memories as well as plenty of nostalgic moments.

3. Thirdly, at that event, my cousin also invited a special guest who is basically an environmentalist named Mr XYZ with whom we spent quality time and he also gave blessings to my brother. Further, with him, we also planted several trees on the lawn located in that home.

Hence, the event was special to us.

Follow-ups - Citation - The Internet

1. How do people in your country celebrate events?

People in my country enjoy all the celebrations and festivals very joyfully and traditionally. They follow all the norms and traditions when they celebrate festivals, patriotic days and important events related to the country. The community comes together and prepares for all the festivals where the community greets each other and celebrates festivals in the country.

2. What events do Indian people like to celebrate?

Indian people like to celebrate festivals like festivals of lights and colours with a lot of joy and celebration. It is imperative to preserve the culture and therefore, all the people celebrate these festivals in a grand way. Every state and region has their own festivals and they are celebrated in a very grand way.

3. Why do you think a celebration is important?

Celebration is so important for the bonding of people and the neighbourhood as well as the community. By celebrating different events and festivals, people come together and unite with each other. It brings unity between them. Hence, the celebration of different events is necessary for the community. It is the best way to stay rejuvenated and vibrant.

4. Do you prefer big or small celebrations?

I prefer big and small both the kinds of celebrations when there is an event in the family then it is a grand celebration but when there is a birthday or a small success then definitely we celebrate within the family. When it is an occasion or a festival then everybody comes together and celebrates as a big event; otherwise, small events are celebrated every day.

5. Why do some people like expensive and grand celebrations?

People want to show their fortune and their wealth to others as well as they want others to be a part of their lives' grand events so they like to make expensive grand celebrations. They like to involve all others like neighbours, relatives and friends in their events so they celebrate grand celebrations by organizing dinner and lunch parties on various occasions. Weddings are especially expensive in the Indian community, and they are celebrated in a very grand way.

6. Do you think it is a waste of money to spend much on celebrations of national events?

No, it is not at all waste of money to celebrate National events. In fact, we have to organize such events to make aware the coming generation of national importance by celebrating national events. People come together as a nation and they become one. It brings unity and diversity to the country so I think it is not a waste of money to celebrate national events.

7. How can people prepare for an event?

People can prepare for an event in many ways especially organizing things time management deciding the food and invitations. It is an important part of any event people can organize by themselves as well as they can organize events in the community. Sometimes people hire different people who are in the event management industry when there is a big celebration of an event.

8. Do you like to plan for an important meeting or activity?

Yes, I definitely like to plan for an event for a meeting, especially planning. We can save our time as well as other times as well. When we plan an event we can make that meeting or activity more productive in all senses. Hence, I believe planning is very important.

9. What factors should be considered when planning an event?

Planning an event is very much important but there are some factors that should be taken care of like timings, finance and budget and who is funding the event. If it is a crowdfunded event then it can be a grand event but if it is a sponsored event it should be in a controlled way so nobody runs out of budget and people don't face any difficulty. Therefore, I believe planning is imperative in organizing an event.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Speaking Part 1 - January to April 2023

Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India. Moreover, we have traditional fast foods as well.  The first one is a savoury stuffed pastr

We also observe the copyright status of answers given here.  Name  Is it easy for you to remember people’s names?  Yes, I always find it easy to remember the names of people since I have an elephant's memory. Moreover, I can easily memorise the mobile number of people.  However, I find it difficult when I have to recall the names of those who are from another culture, especially East and South Indian, owing to their uniqueness.   Do you do anything to help you remember people’s names?  Not all the time, I think it is necessary to use anything in remembering people’s names. More specifically, if the people are from my province Punjab, then I can remember easily because of similarity; however, if the people are from another culture, then I prefer to write their names on my pocket diary to remember them.  How do you feel when people can't remember your name?  I don’
