The charts provide information regarding the education level in a city in Scotland named Glasgow in 2010. The vertical bar graph offers data based on age; however, the pie chart emphasises study level on a gender basis. Overall, the oldest people had the highest proportion of illiterates, and men had more university degrees than women.
The column graph has five different age groups. The age group 16-24 and 35-50 had the same degrees. In brief, both had 71% university degrees followed by 20% school certificate takers and 9% without any qualifications. The second age group named 24-35 had the highest proportion of university degrees awarded with 76%. In this category, 15% and 9% of individuals had school certificates and no qualifications, respectively. Exactly 50% of people in the 50-75 age period had university degrees whereas 20% had school certificates and 30% were without any degree. Finally, 72% of individuals were illiterate after 75 years; however, 3% had been to school, and 25% were university degree takers.
From the pie-chart, it is evident that in both genders, sharply one-third of people were school certificate holders. 38% of women were unqualified followed by 35% of men of the same race. At last, just below three in ten proportion of ladies had university degrees, but here men had a 32% ratio.
