The pie charts elaborate the proportion of water used for multiple works in six areas around the globe. All charts are divided into three different sectors. Overall, the highest consumption belongs to agriculture almost in every area except North America and Europe.
According to the data, North America used 48% of water for industries; however, 39% was reserved for agriculture. It used a three times lower proportion for domestic work compared to agriculture. South America used just over seven in ten proportion for farming, one in ten for industries and nearly one-fifth for household work. Europe consumed 53%, 32%, and 15% of water industries, agriculture, and domestic work, respectively.
Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia gulped the maximum ratio of water for agricultural works. It was 84% by Africa, 88% by Central Asia and 81% by South East Asia. Domestic usage was by Central Asia and South East Asia at 7% each; however, Africa used 9%. 7%, 5%, and 12% were used by industries in Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia separately.
