Business is an art, and doing business is not everyone's cup of coffee. A number of successful ventures I know about; however, now I am going to talk about my favourite one.

1. This business is associated with books and novels that I think are one of the most successful businesses.

2. Plenty of bookshops are there in my hometown Ferozepur, and with each passing day, new shops are being opened. This is because people especially youngsters are showing their interest in book reading.

3. This business has an excellent reputation because it is associated with education. Moreover, by reading books, one can enhance thinking horizon, and therefore, this business has positive outcomes.

4. As the name suggests, this business deals with the sale and purchase of books such as storybooks, novels, factbooks, and books based on happiness like IKIGAI.

5. I feel extremely happy when I think of this business owing to a set of reasons;

A. First of all, this is the best way of spreading knowledge since by providing books, we can instil more education amongst people.

B. Secondly, I really feel over the moon by making people aware of educational and interesting factors. Therefore, this business is the best method of teaching others.

C. Finally, I would like to say that Books are People's Best Friends and A Room Without a Book is Like Body Without a Soul. Thus, I really feel on cloud 9 when I think of this business.

Part - 3

  • Which do you prefer the most: family businesses or non-family businesses?

My first preference is extending the family business since that shows the hard work of an elder in the family. For instance, the descendants of the richest millionaires always engage themselves in family businesses with an addition of a few other ventures. On the contrary, sometimes, owing to interest, descendants love to do businesses of their own choice.

  • What is required to make a company successful?

I believe a plethora of aspects are there that should be taken into consideration for this;

  1. Firstly, a company should be highly focused along with a mission. Moreover, it also lets customers know what the company stands for and helps give them a personal connection.

  1. Secondly, a company should employ a great management team to manage everyday perspectives, and also believes in an old cliche, "Kingship Knows No Kinship".

  1. And, the most important is employee satisfaction along with the adaptation of novel technologies.

  • What qualities do successful business people have?

A lot of dynamic qualities should a successful businessman has. To start with, almost every successful millionaire such as Mark Zuckerberg, Ratan Naval Tata, and Elon Musk prefers to get up early as the early bird catches the worm.

Moreover, they learn from their failures. For instance, China's richest person Jack Ma failed a number of times before starting Aliexpress. Furthermore, they should believe in continuous learning and updating themselves.

  • Which emerging industries do you know about?

I have knowledge about some emerging industries that I would like to share here;

A. Firstly, Xiaomi, which is an electronic brand manufacturing mobile phones, Televisions, CCTV Cameras, and various household appliances. In the past decade, this company has played a considerable role in the market.

B. Secondly, I would like to fit the name of another unit that is none other than SpaceX by Elon Musk. This company has achieved the pinnacle of success in just a few years.

C. Last but not least, Flipkart, has become an e-commerce giant in the past decade.

1. When do people usually complain?

People usually complain when they have been inconvenienced or face discomfort. The other main reason people complain is when they have been duped or cheated by someone.

Many people may complain without any valid reason, as they may have a complaining attitude.

2. Can complaining help solve problems?

Yes, there are many scenarios when complaining helps solve problems. For instance, when a product/appliance/gadget stops working or malfunctions, complaining to customer support or service helps solve the problem.

There are many situations when people get duped or cheated and if they complain to the authorities, they are very likely to get justice.

3. What other measures should you take to solve problems rather than complain?

Sometimes complaining is not the best solution to problems that we face. For instance, the traffic problems in many cities are due to people themselves not following the traffic rules.

However, complaining about it doesn’t solve it, taking steps and initiatives at the individual level can help resolve such issues.

4. What kind of people complain?

People who are aware of their rights and entitlements complain when they do not receive what they deserve or have been promised. However, there may be some people who complain without any valid/solid reason.

Such people are usually unaware and do not want to take responsibility for their actions.

5. Do you usually get angry?

No, I do not usually get angry. However, there are situations which make me angry, like when I see someone doing or saying something wrong and inappropriate. Sometimes reading or watching the news about crimes, corruption, terrorist attacks and innocent people losing their lives makes me angry.

6. Do you think customers’ complaints will improve products or services?

Yes, definitely. Every company knows that the customer is king nowadays. If they get a complaint, they listen to it and try to improve. If they improve only then they retain their customers.

7. Is it necessary for companies to set up customer service?

Yes, companies must set up customer service. They have to listen to their customers. Positive feedbacks, as well as negative feedback, are important for every company.

8. Are there any disadvantages to setting up customer service?

Yes, sometimes some rival companies may misuse and put up negative things just to spoil the company's name.

9. Would you buy things in the shops in which you have made complaints before?

If my complaint has been listened to satisfactorily then I would go there again. This means they care for their customers.

10. What products or services do people in your country like to complain about?

People complain about everything that doesn’t live up to their expectations. Supposing, someone has paid a heavy amount for some product or service and they don’t get back what they expected, they complain.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Speaking Part 1 - January to April 2023

  Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India. Moreover, we have traditional fast foods as well.  The first one is a savoury stuffed pastr
