Describe someone else’s room you enjoy spending time in

You should say:

  • When you visited there
  • Whose room it is
  • What it is like
  • What you can do in it
  • And explain why you enjoy spending time there.


A room is a vital place in a home where one can enjoy rejuvenation. Here, I would like to talk about someone else's home where I loved spending time.

When did you visit there?

I visited that room just a month ago when my friend organized a housewarming party. I visited his house with all my friends and we were over the moon.  Then, he showed us his new room that he designed with the help of a renowned interior designer.

Whose room it is

It is my friend's room. The name of my friend is Amit, who is currently putting up in Delhi and studying Bachelor in Engineering at Delhi University. However, his new house is located in Ajitgarh, which is around 250 km from his university. I liked his room when we all friends were sitting there and remembering nostalgic moments. 

What it is like

The house is a duplex, and the room is located on the first floor. It is a beautiful room since my friend decorated it with attractive colours and has installed gravitating modern lights. 

Moreover, it is equipped with a chandelier which is Italian in design. This chandelier is equipped with five million colours adding charm to its beauty. Similarly, the walls' colour is ivory which is his favourite colour and I liked it the most at that time. 

What you can do in it

I can do various activities in the room; however, I love to do reading there since my friend has given me some places for reading purposes. Moreover, I like book racks there consisting of around fifty wonderful books such as To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Alchemist, and Seabiscuit. 

Likewise, he installed plenty of pots on the balcony which were amazing. These plants include my favourite ones named Snake Plant, Money Plant, and Spider Plant to naturally purify the surroundings. 

And explain why you enjoy spending time there. 

I love to spend time there owing to a few factors:

Firstly, I am a bibliophile person, and reading books I like the most. It is like I am surrounded by an intelligent atmosphere where I can gain knowledge.

Secondly, we played games there on PlayStation since my friend is a gamer as well, and I love to play games too.

Hence, I love his room.
