A dual vertical graph depicts the components of GDP in the UK. The data covers 1992 to 2000 and emphasises two sectors: IT and Service. Overall, the IT sector poured more money compared to service.
IT sector contributed 6.1% compared to 4% by the service sector in 1992. The former industry reached just over 8%, and the latter approached 6.3% after two years. 1996 was the lone year when IT contributed lesser than 1992 and 1994. It was just below 8%. However, another sector kept on following an upward trend and touched 6.5% approximately.
During the second last year, the IT industry sky-rocketed. It registered 12% which was 4% more than in 1996. Here, the service industry recorded roughly 7.8%. In the final year, both areas touched their peak points, and the first gained almost double the proportion in comparison with the second. To be more precise, 15.5% and 8.1% were registered by the IT and service wings, respectively.
