Sports play an indispensable role in everyone’s life, owing to which one can stay fit as a fiddle. I know many sportspersons, and now I will talk about my favourite one.

He is none other than Neeraj Chopra born on December 24, 1997, and he is an Indian track and field athlete who competes in the Javelin Throw.

  A) Neeraj Chopra has an ocean of achievements, and he is the first Indian athlete in the Javelin Throw category who grabbed Gold Medal in Tokyo Olympics 2020.

 B) Moreover, he is also the first track and field athlete from India to win at the IAAF World U20 Championships, and in the under-20 category, he gained a record of throwing 86.48m of javelin and has become the first Indian to set a world record.

C) In addition, he has also been commissioned in the Indian Army as Junior Commissioned Officer also known as JCO.

I admire that person owing to the plenty of reasons,

A) The first and foremost is, that he says that our Self-Belief is our Biggest Asset. In brief, the way he got qualified for the final round in his very first throw, showcased his self-belief in himself and the work, he had put in to reach this stage.

B) The second cogent reason why I like that person is that he favours the concept, “Higher the Risk, Sweeter the Reward” along with pure dedication.

C) Last but not least, he believes in an old cliché, “The More You Sweat During Practice, The Less You Will Bleed During War”. And, it took Neeraj just two throws to become a legend and win Gold.

As a result, owing to the reasons mentioned earlier, I admire the Gold Medallist in the Olympics named JCO Neeraj Chopra.

Part -3

1. What kinds of exercises do Indian people like?

Most Indian people are not very physically active. That is why there has been a drastic rise in diseases like obesity and diabetes in India. However, at the same time, many people in India go for a morning walk and do yoga. Hence, people like brisk walks in the morning and Yoga to stay hale and hearty.

2. What characteristics do you think an athlete should have?

I think the two most important qualities for an athlete are discipline and self-confidence. One cannot achieve success overnight; it requires regular hard work and that means discipline and discipline is not just restricted to exercise but also to diet. Moreover, in all sports and gymnastics, mental toughness is as important as physical fitness, if not more.

3. Why are there so few top athletes?

Because the journey to become a top athlete is full of struggles and obstacles. Although many people have the physical strength and fitness to reach the level, they don’t have the mental toughness required to keep going. Many talented people are let go in the middle because they are unable to keep up with the daily struggles and challenges.

4. What’s the best way to become a top athlete?

I think the first requirement to become a top athlete is to start early. Nearly all the athletes today are those who started when they were children. For example, Roger Federer started playing tennis at the age of three. Then, it’s all about willpower and dedication.

Part - 3 - All Cue Cards

Part 3 belongs to all new cue cards from September to December 2022. We have written the answers on our own except for one topic. Hence, we hold the copyright status of the answers written by us. 1.  Describe an object you find particularly beautiful (For example, a painting, sculpture, piece of jewellery/furniture, etc.). 1. Do   you   think   there   are   more   beautiful   things   now   than  in  the   past? In my opinion, traditional art and sculptures are much more captivating. I think in the past, it was easier for artists to find shoppers in the form of kings and nobles and they could focus on their art without any financial worries. However, today it is much harder to earn money as an artist. The art being made today also reflects that – it is done more as a hobby rather than as a profession and the works produced are far behind those of the past. Moreover, nowadays artists rely on machine work instead of handmade items.  2.   Do you think there are many scenic spots in India

Speaking Part 1 - January to April 2023

Fast Food and Break Fast What do you have for breakfast? I prefer to have my favourite food items during the first meal of the day. Usually, I like wheat bread with freshly cooked vegetables like Okra, Turnip, beans and cauliflower. Along with this, I love to take a cup of tea. However, during weekends, my mother cooks stuffed bread for me, and amongst all these bread types, my favourite one is potato-filled bread with curd and homemade butter.  Do you eat fast food? Yes, I do, but once a fortnight, I prefer to have it. It is owing to the bad cholesterols present in junk food materials. In this category, I find cheese burst pizza, garlic bread and white sauce Italian pasta mouth-watering.  What are the different kinds of fast food in your country? Name them. India has an ocean of fast food materials. For instance, Chinese, Italian and American fast materials are the most popular ones in India. Moreover, we have traditional fast foods as well.  The first one is a savoury stuffed pastr

Many people argue that restaurants should be required to disclose the nutritional information of the dishes they serve. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages? This answer is submitted by BAWA IELTS Ferozepur considering the plagiarism policy. Food is fuel for everyone, and it must be nutritious always to get a sound body. Therefore, a number of individuals contend that restaurants must show nutritional information regarding the dishes they provide. I agree with the statement since I believe the merits outperform the demerits. On the one hand, plenty of factors sustain the positive aspect of this notion. The primary benefit is parents will feel better about choosing a meal for their children when they are aware of the nutrition level of the items being purchased. Moreover, by providing nutritional information, minors can gradually learn about healthy eating and cultivate better eating habits. The secondary miracle of this culture is that adding nutritional labels increa
