  It is a perennial debate whether single-sex schools have demerits later in life. I agree with the notion since such schooling lacks diversity. The foremost downside is this type of schooling is full of single-gender interactions rather than interaction with the opposite gender. While single-gender classrooms provide a relaxed ambience for children's interaction with their gender, it is different in the real world, where boys and girls must interact and work with each other. Moreover, when they are used to interacting only with one gender in school, the awkwardness and newness of the experience make it difficult for boys and girls to interact and converse comfortably.
